Data Power Monitoring provides turnkey start up and commissioning of Battery Monitoring Systems.
Once each Monitor is physically installed (see our installation services section), the unit must be started up and commissioned so it may begin reliably and regularly collecting data for voltage and ohmic measurements specific to the configuration of the installation.
Our On-site start up and commissioning service includes the following:
- Software initialization required as each product typically has customizations specific to your environment
- Validation of installation if performed by a third party or other contractor rather than utilizing Data Power Monitoring’s Installation Services
- Diagnostic test of all Monitor components
- Calibration of the Monitoring System: manually ensure that voltage, ohmic, environmental measurements are accurate, and consistent with UPS and hand held instrumentation
- Test voltage, ohmic measurement and environmental measurement runs
- Optional data collection and communications configuration for Remote Monitoring Services
- Optional Training Services can also be performed more economically with site contacts during this on–site visit
- Optional Load Testing Service can also be performed more economically during this on–site visit
We’ll leave the site once you and we are confident that each Monitor unit is fully operational and already collecting critical monitoring data for further analysis by either your organization or via our remote monitoring services.
