STEVE COTTON

President & CEO

Steve Cotton joined Data Power Monitoring Corporation in December of 2001 bringing over 15 years of experience in building successful marketing and sales teams in the technology industry. Steve is responsible for Data Power Monitoring’s marketing overall strategy and operations including channels, marketing communications, business partners, product planning. Steve also manages both new and existing customer relationships. Steve brings a balanced view of marketing, strategy, and sales from his executive roles in sales and marketing at Octel Communications, Lucent Technologies, Sendmail Incorporated, and BlueKite.

Steve earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology and Telecommunications from California State University, Chico.

BART COTTON

Founder

Bart founded DPMC after more than 27 years of work experience in the computer field during its pivotal growth years during the 1960s to 1990s. Having been affiliated with some of Silicon Valley’s earliest and most successful pioneers such as Amdahl, National Semiconductor, and IBM in various education, marketing and sales positions, Bart narrowed his career scope focused on the UPS power business in 1980.

He started DPMC in 1989, and formally established it as a corporate organization in 1991. Bart continues to serve in a technical capacity to DPMC and is an active participant in setting new standards for battery power. He is a life senior member and former San Francisco chapter chairman of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He is also a member of the IEEE Standards Association, Power and Energy Society Stationary Batteries Committee, which generates and maintains IEEE battery standards. www.ewh.ieee.org/cmte/PES-SBC. He is currently group chair of IEEE 1491–2005, a Battery Monitoring IEEE guide standard released in 2005 and currently under revision.

Bart has published and presented many papers relating to battery and power quality subjects in various forums. Included are Infobatt, Battcon, Intelec, 7x24 Exchange, Power Quality, EC&M magazine, and others.

DOUGLAS SHEPPARD

Chief Technical Officer

Douglas has been involved with the Internet and networking since 1984. He has built and managed teams to handle support, development, and installation for the Naval Research Lab, Nasa Ames Research Center, Pacific Bell Internet, and various Internet start–ups including InfoGear and North Point Communications. He has worked hands–on in the areas of software development, LAN/WAN/MAN network design and rollout, and growing teams in early stage company development.

Douglas’ responsibilities include managing the ongoing evolution of Data Power Monitoring’s centralized web–based monitoring capabilities, as well as advising the company on technology–related topics ranging from partnerships to web presence.

Douglas holds a B.S./E.E. degree from the George Washington University.

MIKE BRINCK

Vice President, Sales

Mike has a 15 year proven record in sales with positions of growing scope. Prior to joining Data Power Monitoring in 2003, Mike helped successfully launch and grow both direct and channel sales efforts in the Enterprise Software space with Alternative Systems, Vastera, and Qiva (acquired by Capstan in 2001). Mike brings his proven top performer and management expertise to Data Power Monitoring with the charter to build out our direct selling efforts as well as identify and create lasting channel relationships with our customers and partners in the Western and APAC regions.

RONNIE LIM

Vice President, Services

As Director of Services, Ronnie’s responsibilities include day to day management of our field service activities, as well as our remote monitoring operations. Ronnie comes to Data Power Monitoring Corporation from Liebert Global Services, where he spent the last four years as a UPS Field Engineer in Northern California. Ronnie was responsible for servicing UPS systems at various key accounts.

Ronnie also served as the Senior Battery Specialist for Northern California where he successfully coordinated Northern activity of battery string replacements and maintenance for valve regulated and flooded cell technology batteries.

Prior to Liebert Global Sevices, Ronnie served in the United States Marine Corps for five years as an electronic technician repairing tactical sensor equipment, radio communications, and computers.

Mark Elder

Chief Financial Officer

Mark Elder is an experienced financial management executive with over 20 years experience helping high growth, emerging companies to develop and thrive. Early in his career, Mark spent 10 years as a management consultant in Silicon Valley focused exclusively on the challenges that new enterprises face; helping them raise capital, develop their business models, and establish robust management systems for maximizing growth and profitability. Prior to joining IntelliBatt, Mark has held a number of senior finance and operations roles including President and COO of Swell Commerce, Inc., CFO of EOexchange, and CFO of New Media Corporation. Mark has a degree in economics from the University of California, San Diego where he graduated with honors.

Shad Smith

Vice President, Strategic Accouts

Shad Smith joined DPMC-IntelliBatt in September 2008 and brings over twelve years of operations and sales experience in the telecommunications and construction fields. As Vice President of Strategic Accounts at DPMC-IntelliBatt, Shad manages the largest accounts to ensure all products and services are implemented as designed. He has a successful track record of developing and overseeing core business and operational functions including project planning and scheduling, budget planning and administration, and the implementation of internal control processes. Prior to DPMC-IntelliBatt, Shad was Vice President of Construction for Adriyl Construction and Development, a San Francisco-based firm that developed over 1600 condominium projects under his direction. Shad also brings successful experience as a sales executive in the telecommunications field holding positions with XO, MCI and Brooks Fiber. Shad has a Business Administration degree from the University of Arizona.
